Account Manager (junior)

Royal Sanders is today one of the largest private label suppliers (manufacturing, production and distribution) of personal care products in Europe (shampoo, hand care, shower gel, etc.). The key clients are mainly large retail customers and a number of well-established A-merchants. Thanks to long term partnerships and innovation, Royal Sanders has been growing for a good number of years in a row and expects to continue to do so in the near future.

Account Manager (junior)

Key responsibilities 

  • The Account Manager is the point-of-contact between the clients and Royal Sanders. He/She is responsible for managing & establishing good relationships with the customers (retailers, contract manufacturing clients, B2B clients) and for managing the full lifecycle of the products. The Account Manager is part of the commercial team and is in close contact with the entire Royal Sanders Team.
  • The Account Manager:
    • Has a good helicopter view on the market in order to identify the potential opportunities and tackle them. The Account Manager will be assigned to existing clients. He/she will also be responsible for managing intercompany clients (UK, NL, DE).
    • Has a good understanding of customer expectations and is able to translate these expectations internally to the R&D/Purchase/Production team.
    • Has commercial instinct and is responsible for negotiations and implementations of contractual agreements (including follow up and control).
    • Works in an efficient way to assure the daily follow-up of products, customer requests, forecast, stocks, and service levels.
    • Has ownership and is flexible in order to find good pragmatic solutions when needed.
  • As Account Manager, you play a central role in the company. You are the customer expert within Royal Sanders, championing the accounts strategy and ensuring this information is effectively cascaded throughout the wider organization to maximize the development of the customer satisfaction and relationship.

The ideal candidate 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Dutch, French and English are a must.
  • Master degree or Bachelor with equivalent on the job experience.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience acquired in a FMCG company in Sales.
  • Solid administrative talent to follow-up day to day business.
  • Solid tactical, diplomatic and commercial skills.
  • Good negotiation and communication skills, disciplined and organized, but flexible in your work.
  • A can do mentality, result oriented and committed team player.
